Gilded Spider Ring by Yasmin Everley

Hogna frondicola

This frighteningly curious, Sterling Silver spider with a 24ct gold plated abdomen is definitely one of the most interesting pieces for jewellery lovers and entomologists alike. Clutching a black diamond and with faceted white diamonds representing its many eyes, this piece is a must-have for those who love to make a statement. The natural realism continues with the twig detailing around the band, a feature found in all of the rings from Entomology.

This piece is designed in London, handcrafted using traditional lost wax casting, and hallmarked by the London Assay Office.

MATERIALS & CARE

This ring comes in oxidised Sterling Silver with vermeil details, clutching a black diamond and with diamond eyes. If you would prefer polished silver, or any other metal, get in touch at hello@yasmineverley.com.

Solid Sterling Silver can become tarnished over time, if this happens the most simple way to restore the necklace is to use a polishing cloth. I do not recommend Silver Dip on oxidised pieces as this will remove the oxidation. The 24ct gold plating is three microns thick but over time it may begin to fade with wear and it should not be polished too often. Always remove your jewellery for sports or when using harsh chemicals. Please read my guide to jewellery care to ensure it lasts for many years.
