OMBRÉ
This isn’t a traditional “collection” as such, the Ombré pieces are more of a personal portfolio - an edit of pieces I’ve been quietly designing over the past year. Each one explores a natural colour gradient, from the deep alpine blues of sapphires to the champagne and chocolate tones of brown diamonds.
The ideas began last summer while hiking in the Alps and swimming off the south coast of France. I loved the colour gradients I saw in the natural landscapes; mountain rock dissolving into sky, sea water fading from dark midnight to pale turquoise, the jagged rocks on the shore. It became a challenge to match these colour palettes in gemstones.
