Claddagh Ring in Solid Gold by Yasmin Everley
Love, Loyalty & Friendship / Grá, Dílseacht agus Cairdeas (Gaelic)
The meaning of the Claddagh is perfectly encapsulated in the phrase “Love, Loyalty & Friendship”, or if you prefer to speak gaelic, “Grá, Dílseacht, Cairdeas”. The traditional design is a combination of three symbols:
The Heart represents Love
The Crown represents Loyalty
The Hands represent Friendship
The ring is often offered in celebration of romantic love, such as a promise ring, engagement or wedding ring or band. My interpretation of the traditional design inspired by some of my mother's earliest heart designs and, of course, my Irish father.
This piece is designed and made in London, handcrafted using traditional lost wax casting, and hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
MATERIALS & CARE
This ring comes in solid 9ct yellow gold. If you would prefer any other metal, get in touch at hello@yasmineverley.com.
Even gold can lose its lustre over time, if this happens, the most simple way to restore the ring is to use Gold Dip. A polishing cloth may also be used. Always remove your jewellery for sports or when using harsh chemicals. Please read my guide to jewellery care to ensure it lasts for many years.
Made in London, UK.
SIZE & FIT
Central crowned heart 8mm tall
As this is my own design, I can have it adjusted to almost any size. If you know your ring size, please send an email to hello@yasmineverley.com. Please note that if your size is not in stock, your ring will take a little longer to get to you. I will email you to check if this is ok before having a ring sized for you.
